Attribution note
Eugenia Price (1916-1996) was a bestselling novelist of the American South. Per the New Georgia Encyclopedia, her Florida trilogy comprises Don Juan McQueen (1974), Maria (1977) and Margaret's Story (1980), and her Savannah quartet comprises Savannah (1983), To See Your Face Again (1985), Before the Darkness Falls (1987) and Stranger in Savannah (1989). This lot therefore pairs two Florida-trilogy titles with the third book of the Savannah quartet. Identifications above are read from the covers, copyright data and barcodes in the photographs, are offered as the consignor's photo-based opinion, and are not guaranteed. Printing and edition state are not established. Bid on the item(s) as pictured.
Notes for bidders
Keep dry and out of sunlight and heat; acidic pulp paper continues to tone in a hot garage or a sunny window. Do not clean the covers with water or household cleaners, as this lifts the gloss layer. Leave the stamps, price markings, and ink notes alone rather than trying to remove them. Do not bend the spines backward, and shelve upright with support rather than stacked flat under weight. Only the item(s) pictured are included in this lot.
