Description Wesson & Harrington No. 2 chambered in .22 Short Rimfire with a seven-shot cylinder and a 2 5/8" octagonal barrel. Manufactured between 1874 and 1878. This one is serial number 8113. Nickel finished steel construction. Smooth wood birds head grips. Single action case colored trigger and hammer. Rear notch and front blade, fixed iron sights. Antique, ships directly to buyers home, where legal. Condition: Antique Good, exhibits light scratches, high edge wear and general cosmetic handling wear. Some light flaking of the finish. Spots of metal oxidation and patina. More patina and finish loss on the case coloring. Light cylinder turn line and wear from use. Light scratches and wear on the grips. Some of the varnish/clear coat are coming off. Decent bore with strong visible rifling. Exhibits spots of metal oxidation in the bore. The action appears to function as expected.
