This is a pair of vintage porcelain collector dolls dressed in elaborate, historical-style attire. The taller doll features a Renaissance or fairy-tale aesthetic with a long blonde braid woven with red fabric flowers, a black velvet kirtle/bodice, satin sleeves, and a floral brocade skirt. The smaller doll appears to be styled as a holiday or Victorian angel, complete with wings, a crushed red velvet dress, gold netting trim, and lace details.
Mass-produced porcelain dolls from the 1980s and 1990s (often sold via home shopping networks or department stores) exist in high supply on the secondary market. Unless they are marked by a highly sought-after high-end designer, they are best sold together as a decorative bundle.
