A two-piece art pottery set from Van Briggle Pottery of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This earthenware set features a low, circular flower bowl with a wide, flared rim decorated with a low-relief molded tulip pattern. It includes a matching, separate circular flower frog with multiple perforations for floral arrangements. The set is finished in the signature Van Briggle matte glaze in the Mulberry colorway, characterized by a dusty maroon base with blue and turquoise overspray highlights that accentuate the floral molding and the top of the frog. The base is incised with the Van Briggle AA company logo within a square, the company name Van Briggle, the location Colo. Spgs., and the finisher's initials SC. Bowl measures approximately 8 inches in diameter. Burns in-house shipping is available.
