Thompson/Center Arms Contender .22 Hornet Rifle

This Thompson/Center Arms Contender is a single-shot break-action rifle chambered in .22 Hornet. The firearm features a 21-inch blued barrel equipped with a ramped front sight and an adjustable rear leaf sight. The blued receiver is decorated with an engraved cougar and scrollwork on both the left and right sides. It is fitted with a durable black synthetic thumbhole stock and a matching synthetic forend, finished with a rubber buttplate that displays the manufacturer's interlaced TC logo. Atop the receiver is a Leupold Vari-X 3x9 E.F.R. scope mounted on Burris brand rings and base. Key markings include the manufacturer and caliber on the left side of the barrel reading THOMPSON : CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, N.H. 22 Hornet and the serial number 349548 stamped on the frame behind the hammer. The scope is marked VARI-X 3x9 E.F.R. and MADE IN USA with the number 151691 C. The buttplate includes a warning stating FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS USE WITH BARREL LESS THAN 16 IN.
