This Remington Model 11 is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 16 gauge, featuring a 28 inch barrel with a fixed full choke. The shotgun is configured with a blued finish on both the barrel and receiver, with the receiver sides featuring roll-engraved game scenes depicting ducks and pheasants. It is fitted with a checkered walnut buttstock and a matching checkered forend. The firearm is equipped with a single metal bead front sight and has been retrofitted with an aftermarket rubber recoil pad marked Ervin's Gun Shop Los Gatos, Calif. Key markings include the model designation MODEL 11 on the bolt and the serial number 1572784 located on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify 16 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS and include the manufacturer's information: REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. BROWNING'S U.S. PATS. 689,283-710,094-730,870-812,326 ALSO PAT.
