CLOUD DRAGON PATTERN COVERED JAR. Height:20cm (7.87in) , Diameter:17cm (6.69in) Straight mouth, full shoulder, bulbous body and tapered base, fitted with flat?topped cover. Painted overall in dou?cai palette with dragons soaring among clouds and fire?pearls. The main dragon is rendered in dominant green enamel accented by red and yellow. The shoulder band displays the Eight Auspicious Symbols; the cover is similarly decorated with dragon motif. Ruyi?head and lotus?petal borders run around rim and lower body respectively. Vivid well?filled enamels over bright glaze. Base bears underglaze?blue six?character three?column seal?script mark ??Da?Qing Qian?Long Nian?Zhi??. Dou?cai is among the most prestigious imperial porcelain techniques of Qing court.
