Description Ithaca model 37 Deerslayer Featherlight D.S. Police Special chambered in 12 gauge for 2 3/4" shells with a four round tube magazine and a 20" barrel. Fixed mod choke. Rear notch and fixed front blade. Cross bolt safety. Parkerized finish with ribbed wood forend and smooth pistol grip stock. Checkered Ithaca butt plate. Front and rear sling eyelets. The stock is lightly stamped MPD. The previous owner bought Model 37's from Barneys Police Supply out of Lafayette Louisiana. They sold police surplus and Department of Corrections shotguns. Must ship to a FFL holder.
Condition: Very good with light scratches, high edge wear, contact marks and general cosmetic handling wear. Some heavier wear around the muzzle. Moderate wear on the operational parts from normal use. Light scratches and dings on the wood. A deeper scuff on the stock forward of the rear sling swivel. Bright and clean smooth bore.
