At the time of removal, the successful bidder and/or their third party removal agent will be required to show the following documentation: A current and undamaged U.S. Passport; or Two forms of identification to include (1) proof of U.S Citizenship in the form of a certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or State; Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth (Form FS-240, FS-545 or DS-1350); or Naturalization Certificate (Form N-550 or N-570) or Certificate of Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561), and (2) proof of identification in the form of a Government or State issued photo ID. When bidding, bidders must read & accept the U.S. Export Control Certification. Only people who are either U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) are allowed to inspect or collect surplus personal property at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). If you successfully bid on items, you are responsible for removing them from the GSFC premises and you cannot throw them away in the trash bins on site.
