This is a DPMS AR-15 pattern semi-automatic upper receiver assembly chambered in 5.56 NATO caliber. The assembly features a 16 inch chrome-lined barrel with a 1:9 twist rate and is fitted with a standard A2-style flash hider. The flat-top upper receiver has a matte black finish and includes a keyhole forge mark indicating the source of the forging. It is equipped with a black polymer carbine-length handguard that has an additional short Picatinny rail section mounted to the top forward portion. Sighting is provided by a fixed A-frame front sight base and a Magpul MBUS folding rear sight mounted on the receiver integral rail. Included components consist of a charging handle, forward assist, and a spring-loaded dust cover. Verbatim markings on the barrel include DPMS 5.56 1-9 and CHROME LINED. Please note that this lot consists of the upper receiver assembly only and does not include a bolt carrier group, lower receiver, or magazine.
