The guard is inlaid with turquoise and decorated with gold kui-dragon patterns, while the hilt features openwork interwoven chilong carvings. This was a nobleman??s ceremonial and combat sword of the Warring States period; gold-inscribed bronze swords are extremely rare surviving relics.
