HOLLOWED-OUT DRAGON PATTERNS FROM THE WARRING STATES PERIOD. Height:65cm (25.59in) , Width:7cm (2.76in) , Weight:1551g (3.420lb) Warring States Bronze Sword with Gold Inlaid Inscriptions & Openwork Dragon Pattern
Bronze long sword with vertical bird-worm seal characters inlaid in gold along the central ridge. The guard is inlaid with turquoise and decorated with gold kui-dragon patterns, while the hilt features openwork interwoven chilong carvings. This was a nobleman??s ceremonial and combat sword of the Warring States period; gold-inscribed bronze swords are extremely rare surviving relics.
