Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze 4-door sedan, featuring a 1.8L L4 DOHC 16V FFV engine with 69,690 miles. The Elyria Police Department came into possession of the vehicle on July 2, 2026. The vehicle went unclaimed, and the Elyria Police Department took official possession on September 1, 2026, through the Ohio Unclaimed and Abandoned Junk Motor Vehicle Affidavit Process. Please note that this administrative process converts the clear title into a salvage title. We strongly advise you to review your state's laws regarding salvage titles prior to bidding. The vehicle starts and runs as designed, keys are included with the vehicle. There is some body damage; please refer to the attached photos and video for a more detailed description. It is strongly encouraged that you personally inspect this vehicle PRIOR to bidding. Inspections are by appointment only, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Removal terms▾
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
