This gorgeous 1999 Harley-Davidson Road King comes directly from the auctioneer's personal collection, where it has been owned, ridden, maintained, restored, and customized for approximately four years.
More than $16,300 has been invested in getting this Road King exactly where the owner wanted it. This was never intended to be a quick resale or a motorcycle built just to sit under a cover. The money was spent because the plan was to keep it, ride it, and enjoy it.
That plan changed when another Harley came along. The garage didn't get any bigger, so this one is going to a new owner.

OVER $16,300 INVESTED - BUILT TO RIDE
This wasn't a quick cosmetic makeover. The motorcycle received extensive mechanical and cosmetic attention with the goal of building a dependable, strong-running custom Road King that could actually be ridden and enjoyed.
Major engine, electrical, suspension, and exhaust work and modifications were professionally performed through Harley-Davidson of South Charleston, West Virginia.
The bike is currently running great, fully operational, and ready to ride.
BLACK, CHROME & WHITEWALLS
The photographs show just how well this combination came together.
The deep gloss black bodywork is surrounded by extensive polished chrome, creating a classic Harley appearance with considerably more attitude than a stock Road King.
The chrome spoked rims with newer high whitewall tires are among the strongest visual features of the build. The large chrome-spoked front wheel, bright whitewall, black fender, and chrome front end give the motorcycle an unmistakable old-school custom stance.
The chrome continues throughout the engine, controls, front end, exhaust, and trim.
CUSTOM RED ALLIGATOR-STYLE SEAT
Against the black paint and chrome sits one feature nobody is going to overlook-the deep red alligator-style custom seat with matching passenger backrest.
It's bold, different, and works exceptionally well on this motorcycle.
The red upholstery provides a dramatic contrast against the black bodywork, brilliant chrome, and whitewall tires without taking away from the classic Road King profile.
TALL CUSTOM HANDLEBARS
The motorcycle is fitted with tall aftermarket handlebars that add considerably to its custom cruiser stance.
Combined with the chrome front end, large spoked wheel, whitewall tire, custom seating, and stretched fishtail exhaust, the bars give the motorcycle a long, unmistakable custom Harley profile.
LONG FISHTAIL EXHAUST - AND YES, THEY'RE LOUD
The motorcycle wears long custom fishtail exhaust pipes extending behind the saddlebags.
They aren't there just for appearance.
The fishtails give the strong-running motor the deep, aggressive Harley exhaust note that a motorcycle looking like this deserves.

CUSTOM MULTICOLOR LIGHTING
When the sun goes down, this Road King takes on an entirely different personality.
The motorcycle features extensive multicolor LED accent lighting around and underneath the bike. The nighttime photographs show the lighting illuminating the engine, chrome, frame, and pavement beneath the motorcycle.
The blue lighting shown against the polished chrome is particularly striking, while the upgraded forward lighting provides substantial illumination.
This motorcycle looks great during the day and absolutely comes alive after dark.
NEWER HIGH WHITEWALL TIRES & CHROME SPOKED RIMS
The motorcycle rides on newer high whitewall tires mounted on beautiful chrome spoked rims.
The combination was chosen specifically to complement the Road King's traditional styling and is a major part of the bike's overall appearance.
NEW BELT, NEW BATTERY & EXTENSIVE MECHANICAL ATTENTION
The investment wasn't limited to chrome and cosmetics.
The motorcycle has received a new drive belt, new battery, and extensive mechanical attention throughout.
Engine, electrical, suspension, and exhaust work associated with the build was professionally performed, along with numerous components that were replaced, renewed, serviced, or upgraded during the project.
The goal was simple: make it look great, but make sure it runs and
