Wwi Imperial German S 98 Na Parade Bayonet Ww1

Second pattern model 1898 bayonet, with the two-piece grips introduced in 1902, known as the S 98 nA ("Seitengewehr 98 neuer Art" - Bayonet ‘98 new Pattern), and its original steel scabbard. The unsheathed bayonet has an overall length of 25 & 5/8" with a 20 & 5/8" blade and is housed in the original scabbard with matching fittings. Scabbard has shrinkage Blade is maker marked to Simson & Co. Suhl and have matching numbers to both the scabbard and bayonet. Excellent.
