Takedown Model 61, .22 S,L,LR, SN: 83069, rifle, 24" round brl, slide action, very good condition. The rifle was manufactured in 1947 and is fitted with a smooth walnut pistol grip butt stock having a checkered steel butt plate. Along with a ribbed 8.35 inch long forend having 17 grooves. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and the front is fixed and tipped with a silvertone bead. The muzzle has a standard crown and the bore appears like factory. Barrel address, proof marks and serial numbers all retain crisp sharp edges and the factory blued finish shows off very well with just a few spots of noticeable wear or handling the most noticeable of which is just reward of the loading port on the tube magazine and just reward of the trigger guard as well in the form of light surface pitting. 28-9-22
