(R) Serial # 24061. .22 LR caliber bolt action target rifle with a 28” heavy barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light fouling, it should clean better. Made in 1941. 5 shot detachable magazine. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in fair condition showing muzzle wear with thinning, scratches and a covering of moderate rust. The barrel is drilled for scope blocks. The blued metal finish on the receiver is in fair condition showing wear with thinning and a covering of moderate rust. The floor plate/trigger guard are worn to bare metal and are turning brown with surface rust. The plain walnut target stock with an adjustable front swivel is in fair condition showing numerous dings and scratches with finish wear. Original sling swivels. Blade front sight with receiver mounted Lyman aperture sight. Checkered steel butt plate with light rust. The action functions fine. Made from 1938 to 1958. C&R.
