Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall

Serial # 78303. .22 Short caliber single shot rifle with a 24” medium contour barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with good rifling with some slight roughness. Made in 1897. The blued metal finish on the barrel is most likely a re-blue an dis in very good to excellent condition showing little wear with a few light marks. The metal finish on the receiver and lever is a gray patina showing some darker spots of older cleaned surface rust. The plain walnut forearm with a black ebony tip and the matching butt stock have been refinished and are in excellent condition showing little wear. Crescent steel butt plate. Original front and rear sights. The action seems to work fine. C&R.
