Gauge with 30 Inch Barrel 1939. This Winchester Model 12 is a classic pump-action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells with a 2 3/4-inch chamber and a 30-inch barrel featuring a fixed full choke. The firearm features a steel receiver and barrel assembly paired with a smooth walnut pistol-grip stock and a ribbed corncob style forend. A black plastic buttplate is fitted to the rear of the stock. Verbatim markings on the left side of the barrel include WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL — WINCHESTER — MODEL 12 - 12 GA. FULL, while the right side of the barrel is marked MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. followed by a series of patent dates spanning from FEB. 22, 1893, to JUNE 7, 14, 21, 1921. The serial number 795792 is explicitly stamped on the underside of both the receiver and the barrel extension. This shotgun is classified as a Curio and Relic (In house shipping is available.
