This is a Winchester Model 94 lever-action carbine chambered in .32 Winchester Special (.32 W.S.) equipped with a 20-inch barrel and a full-length tubular magazine. The firearm features a blued finish on the barrel and receiver that shows thinning and silvering on high edges consistent with field use and age. The rifle is fitted with a walnut straight-grip buttstock and a barrel-banded forend, with an aftermarket brown Pachmayr Gun Works rubber recoil pad installed on the butt. Sling swivel studs have been added to the underside of the buttstock and the magazine tube band. The sighting arrangement consists of a hooded ramp front sight and a standard adjustable buckhorn rear sight. Notable markings on the left side of the barrel include Made in New Haven, Conn.
