Walther G43 Semi-Automatic Rifle 7.92mm 1944

This German G43 semi-automatic rifle is chambered for 7.92x57mm Mauser and configured as a designated marksman platform. The rifle features a standard-length barrel of approximately 22 inches. The receiver and bolt carrier exhibit a worn blued finish with thinning and areas of light pitting throughout the metal components. The rifle is equipped with a laminated wood stock featuring a through-bolt at the wrist and a metal buttplate with a trapdoor for storage of cleaning accessories. Mounted to the integral right-side receiver rail is a Voigtlander ZF4 4x power scope featuring a post-and-crosshair reticle. Key markings include the model designation G.43 followed by a Nazi eagle proof mark, the serial number 7489, and the manufacturer code ac 44 on the left side of the receiver. The serial number 7489 is also clearly stamped on the bolt carrier. The scope body is marked K 43, 83410, and ddx triangle. One detachable 10-round box magazine is included, marked gcb, K43, and WaA892 beneath a Nazi eagle proof. Additional eagle proof marks are visible on the right side of the buttstock.
