This is a vintage hand-crank ice cream freezer with a wood bucket held by metal bands, a cast top gear housing, and a side hand crank. The wood staves carry a dark red-brown stain finish with age wear, water staining, and some surface mildew. The inner metal freezer canister and the dasher are shown in the photos, so the working parts are present. The crank gear housing shows old paint and light rust. Condition is good and complete for its age and it displays well in a country kitchen setting. These wood-bucket crank freezers are collected for decor and nostalgia. No clear maker name was readable in the photos. Estimated Value: $30 to $65 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
