Description from HiBid
This is an antique galvanized steel service can used for kerosene, oil, or gasoline. It has a long angled pour spout, a side strap handle, a wire bail across the top, and a screw cap. A ruler in the photos shows it stands roughly ten to eleven inches tall. The metal carries a gray galvanized finish with areas of surface rust on the spout and top, plus general staining and wear from age and use. The base shows honest oxidation. Condition is good for its age with the spout and cap intact. Cans like this are collected for primitive and garage decor and for use as display pieces. No clear maker mark was visible in the photos. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
