Vintage Andrea 2D5 Receiver

Unique vintage radio and receiver, perfect for collecting and display. The Andrea Model 2D5 is a high-quality 5-tube superheterodyne receiver manufactured by the Andrea Radio Corp. around the years of 1937-1939. These were known as “DeLuxe” units in their marketing compared to the cheaper mass-produced radios of the era, showcasing excellent pre-war craftsmanship. Overall item measures 8.5” H x 14” W x 6” D and gives off great rustic visual display. The exterior of the unit does have some surface wear due to the age of the item. Item was briefly plugged in and it made a humming noise. It is assumed that further restoration is needed for full working conditions.
