Vintage 1930s Buddy L International Dump Truck

Vintage 1938 Buddy L International Harvester dump truck. This is an all-original truck, styled like the International Harvester trucks from 1937 to 1940, the model D30. Looks to be complete with uniform wear throughout. Truck offers a dual function as an operating dump truck. Pull the lever at the side of the truck and the box lifts up to unload. It also serves as a vehicle that the child can drive/steer. They can sit on the seat mounted to the box and steer the front wheel by moving the steering mechanism leading up to the driver. Both are in working condition. The child seat is removable, just pulls out so the dump truck feature can be used without the seat in place. Rubber wheels and tires are in good condition and roll good. Nice two-tone blue paint colors in a pattern that was common for that period. Patina adds to the overall appeal. Nice larger size truck makes for a great display piece. Measures 12” tall, 27” long and 9” wide.
