Heartbreaking Sale of our much beloved Amali (most commonly known as Chicken). I have bred her myself and thought about selling her a few times as she is surplus to my needs, but just couldn't ever actually do it. Unfortunately we've just purchased a property and the bank wants 30% deposit now instead of 20%. Fortunately for someone, this is the only reason she's advertised, and I'm certain, that whoever will buy her, will keep her forever. She's just that kind of horse.
Despite being only young (Turing 4 in August) and only having been under saddle for 12 months, she's exceptionally safe and quiet. She's only ever been ridden a few times a week at most, and had a few months off in between also.
She leads, ties, self loads, washes and everything else a horse should. She's always been super quiet with the most beautiful nature. Can be left alone in the pasture or pulled out away from all her friends to be ridden, never an issue.
Was used as a yearling on a TB stud as a nanny for a whole Mob of TB weanlings as she's that quiet. Comes running to the gate when called.
Has been on pub rides including crossing the Hume Freeway, been to several beach outings. Most recently (end of April) been to snake island with her and went to the Merrijig Anzac Day ride where 122 horses attended. Was tied up to the float all night as there was no yards available, no issue.
Been to a young and green horse clinic also, and always takes everything within her stride.
Perfect out on trails, whether in a group or Alone. Close to bombproof on trails, not spooky and goes into the ocean before all other horses. Has crossed bridges, been up mountains under underpasses. Great with traffic even heavy trucks.
Has done some arena work, but definitely still green in that area, as I don't have one myself. Hasn't been jumped yet due to age.
Can be left in paddock for weeks and just hop back on no issue. Has had my partners daughter on her for a few lessons and With time I can see her being a beginners horse, but currently still strongly recommend an experienced person simply due to her age to further her education. No nastiness at all.
Really a perfect horse for the whole family to enjoy, I see her as a great horse for an experienced teenager as a step up to the first big horse. Or the perfect horse for a mother/daughter duo.
Decent reserve as she's only for sale due to having to build up the deposit, but worth every dollar. Would love to stay in touch with purchaser. If not sold, will hopefully go for a trial at the mounted police in the new financial year.
Everyone that meets her always comments how well behaved and level headed she is for age.
Come and buy your forever heart horse, you won't regret it.
