Pocket Watch and Jewelry. An assortment of United States and international numismatic items, timepieces, and personal effects. The collection includes a large quantity of circulated United States coinage, primarily Lincoln cents of both wheat and memorial reverse types. Other US denominations include Washington quarters, featuring a 1962 silver specimen, as well as Buffalo and Jefferson nickels. International coinage is present, highlighted by a 1971 Mexican One Peso. A 1988 United States Mint Proof Set is included in its original purple presentation box. Paper currency consists of a Brazilian 1 Cruzeiro banknote, serial number 010688, issued by the Republica dos Estados Unidos do Brasil. The horological section features an open-face pocket watch with a white dial signed Hampden and Roman numeral indices; the case interior is stamped Fahys Special with serial number 9008077. Wristwatches include an Andre Lezaur gold-tone model in a presentation box, a Stuhrling Original watch with a brown leather strap, and a ladies Citizen gold-tone watch. Accessories and jewelry include a green canvas bank bag from Wellsburg Banking and Trust Co., a boxed silver-plated owl salt and pepper set by Wm. A. Rogers, two loose faceted gemstones consisting of one green heart-shape and one purple teardrop-shape, and various necklaces, earrings, and angel-form brooches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
