Single-Shot Falling-Block Rifle .375 H&H Mag with 24 Inch Barrel. This is a single Sturm Ruger & Co. Inc. Model No. 1 single-shot falling-block rifle chambered in .375 H&H Magnum, designed for large game hunting. The rifle is equipped with a 24-inch blued barrel featuring a barrel band with a sling swivel stud. The receiver and barrel exhibit a high-polish blued finish, and the action is based on the classic Farquharson-style falling-block design. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut stock and forend, with the buttstock featuring a pistol grip adorned with a gold-toned Ruger eagle medallion on the grip cap and a black rubber recoil pad. Sighting is provided by a ramped front sight and a folding rear leaf sight mounted on an integral quarter rib, which is also machined for Ruger-pattern scope rings. Key markings include the Ruger logo and RUGER No. 1 on the top of the receiver, and the serial number 133-76971 on the right side of the frame. Barrel markings specify .375 H&H MAG. alongside a circled PR proof mark, while the top of the barrel is stamped STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. alongside a standard manufacturer warning. In house shipping available.
