AUCTION ITEMS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD ON AN AS-IS WHERE-IS BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AUCTION ITEMS MAY CONTAIN DEFECTS THAT ARE IMMEDIATELY DETECTABLE UPON INSPECTION AND/OR DEFECTS THAT ARE LATENT AND ARE NOT IMMEDIATELY DETECTABLE UPON INSPECTION. If inspection is desired, prospective bidders must arrange to inspect items onsite by advance appointment only. Inspections must be requested in writing by email to purchasing@theride.org at least two business days in advance. Requests for inspection must specify requested date(s) and time(s) and may include alternates. Inspections are scheduled subject to staff availability on working days Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. local Ann Arbor, MI time.
Removal terms▾
ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE OF THE BUYER'S CERTIFICATE. THE BUYER MUST MAKE ALL ARRANGEMENTS AND PERFORM ALL NECESSARY PACKING, LOADING AND TRANSPORTATION OF THE PROPERTY. NO ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SELLER AND NO REPAIRS OR SERVICING OF THE PROPERTY MAY BE PERFORMED ON SELLER'S PREMISES. ITEMS NOT TIMELY REMOVED WILL INCUR ADDITIONAL STORAGE FEES OF $20.00 PER DAY. THE BUYER MUST PRESENT A VALID I.D. PRIOR TO REMOVAL OF THE PROPERTY AND A COPY OF THE BUYER'S CERTIFICATE. TRANSPORTERS OR OTHER AGENTS OF THE BUYER MUST PRESENT A COPY OF THE BUYER'S CERTIFICATE AND A COMPLETED GOVDEALS AUTHORIZATION OF RELEASE FORM SIGNED BY THE BUYER. THE BILL OF SALE FORM MUST ALSO BE COUNTERSIGNED BY BUYER OR BUYER'S AUTHORIZED AGENT PRIOR TO REMOVAL. REMOVAL OF PROPERTY IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
