Action Rifle .22 Win. Mag. with 24 Inch Barrel. This is a Savage-Anschutz Model 54 M Sporter, a precision-engineered bolt-action rifle chambered for the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 Win. Mag.) cartridge. Designed for small game hunting and target shooting, the rifle features a 24-inch blued steel barrel fitted with a hooded ramp front sight and a folding leaf rear sight. The blued receiver is factory-grooved for scope mounts and houses a smooth-cycling bolt with a rear-mounted safety. The firearm is stocked in a checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheekpiece, a plastic grip cap with a white spacer, and a plastic buttplate. It is equipped with a single detachable box magazine featuring the Anschutz logo on the baseplate. Key markings include the model designation Savage - Anschutz Model 54 M Sporter and the serial number 955759 A on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify Caliber 22 Win. Mag. and Made in West Germany. The receiver is also stamped Savage Westfield, Mass. USA followed by a diamond symbol and Anschutz Ulm, West Germany. German proof marks, including an eagle over N and an Ulm antler symbol, are clearly visible on both the barrel and receiver. In house shipping available.
