Make: RFI Model: Enfield 2A1 Caliber: 308 Win Action: Bolt Barrel: 17.5 Bore: Shiny Serial # Y5829 Condition: Very Good Importer: NVI Manufactured in 1968 as per receiver band stamp by Royal Factory Ishapore and designated Model 2A1 also referred to as the “Jungle Carbine” or in this model “Quest Extreme Carbine” because of its sporter style stock and nickel finish . This Enfield rifle is chambered in .308 Win (7.62x51mm) and usually imported by the Gibbs Rifle Company in the 1990s. It has a 17.5” barrel with an added cone muzzle compensator, brass buttplate with trapdoor and a survival kit inside, and Enfield military adjustable front and tangent rear sights.. It was built as an all weather short carbine for hiking, the truck, or hunting. It includes a scope mount and a 1 - 12rnd detachable magazine. Please see photos.
