This auction requires the high bidder to submit completed and signed certification(s) found in the "Documents" section and/or proof of licensing to the Sales Contracting Officer before the award is finalized. Requirements vary by auction. The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview (1) PHACO SYSTEM WHITESTAR SIGNATURE OPHTHALMIC EQUIPMENT. The system is classified in repairable condition. The equipment has been stored in a warehouse after being turned in and may require inspection to determine operational status. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. The system has been stored in a warehouse environment after being turned in. Operational status is unknown and requires evaluation. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. The item will be placed onto the dock and the bidder is responsible thereafter. Bidders must come prepared with appropriate equipment and assistance for safe pickup. Pickup will be denied if bidders are not properly prepared and will require rescheduling. The dock is a railroad height dock without a lift gate to get items to ground level.
