If you are looking for a chunky sweetheart that the whole family will enjoy, this is your girl.
She will ideally suit someone wanting a trustworthy farm or trail horse, something you can round up the cows on, the kids can take swimming bareback in the creek and a mum can take for a ride while the kids are at school. She is often ridden alone and is also great in groups of horses, she doesn't kick out even when people run up her bum and she is never marey.
You could do some ARC or pony club on her. She is safe and she has the best brakes you'll find, she is happy to work forward but is always waiting for any signal to stop and will pull up instantly.
She's been an elderly gentleman's farm horse for most of her life and has been ridden by young kids. She loves water. She's happy to chase up a cow and moves quietly through a herd, she's in her element here.
She's great with farm machinery and dogs. I ride her around the yard with no gear on.
She's easy to catch, loads herself onto the float, ties up great, she's got no kick or bite in her. She has never shown any dirty behaviour and she has no spook. Great to saddle up and jump straight on, even after a big spell.
She's sound and vice free, she's never foundered. She isn't registered.
She's super solid, a real tank of a horse, and she doesn't mind having a heavier rider aboard. She's wormed, barefoot and trimmed. She is due to have her teeth done. She's done some flatwork schooling. 15.1hh, 13YO.
