Major is a beautiful sound, sane and solid boy with amazing presence and an easy trainable mind. He is a head stunner when out and everyone falls in love with his looks and goofy personality.
Has Just shameless bloodlines
When in work he has given many people their first ride and is super trustworthy in the arena. He’s great out on trails with other horses, doesn’t care when they run up his hind.
Can ride him in a neck rope and just your legs, Or jump on and go in a halter to check the fence line he is such a dude.
Holds a beautiful frame and brings out lovely movement. Swing a rope off him or chuck a calf on his back to be carried back to mum. He’s given most things a go and always has a can do attitude.
I’ve had this horse since an unhandled 2yr and can give you all his history. Truly is such a special boy and love him to bits but he is wasting with me when he could be out competing in what he loves. This boy will give anything go.
Currently been out of work for months due me not riding anymore but I hopped on the other day and he was foot perfect. Has never (even when getting broken in) offered to rear, buck, bolt, bite etc.
Would be the best farm horse or kill it in team penning or even try campdrafting for a novice level .
Has tracked cattle, bison and sheep and loves doing so. Been to team penning, pub rides, cattle clinics and many outings to different trails.
Prefers to be ridden out on trails with another horse.
Can pony other horses off him without hassle, has been used many times to teach the naughty babies how things are done. Also been used as a pack horse for a few long rides.
This boy has the ability to go all day. Has more woah then go but can pick up really well with an experienced rider.
Knows his leg aids and stops with your seat.
Gentle with kids and good to paddock with other horses, he just likes to be fed first. Can be matey and looky when not in work but only calls out for a few minutes and moves on with his day. When in work and having a routine ( even just 2 days a week) this goes away.
Easy doer, all current photos are him just being on paddock grass!
Good to wash, saddle, farrier ( barefoot) and float.
Does have a slight clubfoot that he has had since birth, never affected him in anyway and all ways sound.
Could be registered
Suit a home with an experienced rider to give him the best life and due to his size, but if there are novice/ intermediate riders he will be perfect when in work.
No straight beginners unless you have someone who can bring him into work for you has he can be matey/looky and takes to his rider for comfort. Never offers anything naughty you can just feel he wants to be guided with confidence until he is in ruin.
