Removal terms▾
Buyer must remove the asset within 10 business days of Buyer’s Certificate. Please present your Buyer's Certificate to a staff member, Chief, Shop Superintendent, or designee where the asset is located during pickup. A copy of the Bill of Sale will be printed for the Buyer to sign upon removal. To schedule a pick-up appointment, please call Brad Weatherly at (240) 753-9086 or email at Brad.Weatherly@montgomerycountymd.gov. Equipment must be removed between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM | Monday - Friday and is by appointment only. Pick-up appointment must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. The County requests at least 1-day notice so the equipment can be made accessible for removal. Buyer will be solely responsible for removal of equipment. Equipment is sold as-is, where- is. Please review the Indemnification provision #8 in the Terms and Conditions of Sale. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to be knowledgeable of condition and operability and to remove using Buyer’s resources.
