It is set behind glass with a burgundy mat cut with a pale pink bevel accent and housed in a black molded frame with an embossed leaf-and-ribbon pattern on the outer molding and a stepped black inner lip. The kraft-paper backing is stamped "Y&B FRAMES & GIFTS / 247 2001 / ANADARKO, OK. 73005," and carries a handwritten ink signature with what appears to be a date alongside it, though the handwriting is not fully legible in these photographs. The back has a braided hanging wire on screw eyes and two black bumper pads at the lower corners. Do not attempt to clean the needlework; surface dust under glass is normal and opening a framed piece to clean it usually does more harm than good unless a conservator handles it.
