U.S. Model M1 Carbine manufactured by the famous wartime contractor National Postal Meter (NPM). This exceptional collector's package comes complete with an official Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing its genuine U.S. government military provenance. Bearing serial number 1502689, official ordnance records place the production of this receiver into the mid-1943 block at NPM's Rochester, New York factory. National Postal Meter was one of the scarcer prime contractors of the war, making this beautifully documented carbine highly sought after by serious military surplus collectors.
