A black metal hinged tin lithographed COMPLIMENTS OF MOORHEAD GIN, BILL HUDDLESTON, Manager, GRACEMONT, OKLA., "We Appreciate Your Business" - a Caddo County, Oklahoma cotton gin giveaway piece naming the town this auction company calls home, which puts it squarely in front of local advertising and Oklahoma history collectors. Inside is a good handful of cast lead fishing sinkers, a mix of egg, bank, bass-casting, pyramid, and bell shapes with several marked with weights including 1, 5/8, and 1-1/2, plus one large heavy round ball weight. Alongside it is a STEWART CLIPMASTER MODEL 51-1 electric animal clipper by Sunbeam Corporation of Chicago, the sheep and livestock clipper pattern that traces straight back to the company that started out making horse clippers and sheep shears, with the SUNBEAM-STEWART 84 AU U.S.A. cutter blade still in place. Finally, a glass jar with a white plastic lid holding several hundred assorted screws, sheet-metal screws, washers, and small hardware. The clipper is heavily rusted and is UNTESTED - it has NOT been plugged in and should NOT be plugged in. Sold as a lot of three: the tin with its contents, the clipper, and the jar. Measures approximately 12 inches long and roughly 5.5 to 6 inches wide per the tape-measure photographs. The lid printing is fully legible in the photographs. In both measuring frames the tape lies flat on the concrete across or alongside the tin rather than hooked on an edge, so these figures are close estimates only, and the tin's depth was never measured.
