A mid-century modern hand-blown art glass vase featuring a tapered, rounded body. The construction utilizes the sommerso technique, with a deep ruby red core encased in a thick layer of clear glass. The interior red layer is decorated with a controlled pattern of teardrop-shaped air bubbles. The vase features a heavy, weighted base that is ground and polished flat with a recessed center. There are no maker's marks, labels, or signatures present.
