An American Jacobean Revival style oak chest of drawers, likely produced in the early to mid-20th century. The piece features a rectangular top with a molded edge above a configuration of two short drawers and two full-width graduated lower drawers. The facade is heavily ornamented with recessed panels containing carved geometric motifs and foliate designs, alongside molded drawer fronts. The stiles are decorated with split-turned bobbin ornamentation. The chest is supported by turned front legs joined by a simple rectangular stretcher and square rear legs. Construction consists of a primary oak exterior with secondary wood used for the drawer interiors. The drawers are assembled with machine-cut dovetail joinery at both the front and rear corners. The hardware comprises patinated metal drop-ring pulls on the lower drawers and small round knobs on the upper drawers.<br><br>Height: 36 inches<br>Width: 50 inches<br>Depth: 22 inches.
