Revolver .22 with 6 Inch Barrel for Repair. This Iver Johnson Target Sealed 8 is an eight-shot double action revolver chambered in .22 caliber, originally designed for target shooting and recreational use. It features a 6-inch round barrel equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a notched top strap. The steel frame maintains much of its original blued finish, whereas the barrel and cylinder show significant thinning and have transitioned to a brownish patina with visible surface oxidation throughout. The firearm is fitted with one-piece checkered wood grips that exhibit typical handling marks and light scratches. Verbatim markings on the top strap specify I.J. TARGET SEALED 8 and I.J.A. & C. WKS. FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A. while the serial number N8754 is stamped on the underside of the trigger guard. The action is currently in need of mechanical attention as the trigger fires but does not return to the forward position. Note - All firearms require a federal 4473 background check. In house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (Or other type of FFL) we can ship it to you, or hand it to you if you come here. If not we will have to ship to your Federal Firearms License recipient or you will need to undergo a background check here when you pickup. In-house shipping is available.
