Iver Johnson Model Trigger Action Single Shot.

(R) Serial # 4160. 12 ga single shot shotgun with a 30” barrel. The bore is good, mostly clean with moderate fouling. The barrel is choked Full. The action opens by pulling the trigger within the main trigger after firing. The metal finish on the barrel and frame is a blotchy brown/gray patina with thinning, scratches and older cleaned rust. The plain walnut forearm is in fair condition with slivers of wood missing. The plain walnut forearm is in good condition showing scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. There is a small crack at the upper tang and a chip at the toe. Plastic butt plate with a corresponding chip at the toe. The action does not work properly, the firing pin does not retract/rebound and the extractor hangs up on it on opening. Made from 1905-1908. C&R.
