Shotgun 16 Gauge with 28 Inch Barrel. This Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 16-gauge shells up to 2 3/4 inches, designed for easy carry during field use. The 28-inch roto-forged barrel is chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells and is fitted with a red fiber-optic front bead sight. The steel receiver features the classic Ithaca bottom-loading and bottom-ejection action and is decorated with roll-engraved scenes on both sides depicting waterfowl over a marshland. The furniture consists of a fixed walnut stock and a ribbed corncob-style wooden forend. Key markings include the barrel text MODEL 37-FEATHERLIGHT - 16 GA-2 3/4 CHAMBER-PROOF TESTED and ITHACA GUN CO INC ITHACA NY-MADE IN U S A-ROTO FORGED.
