Indian Head Buffalo Nickel 1913-1938 INB Slab
United States Indian Head Buffalo Nickel 1913-1938 INB Slabbed Circulation Strike
Condition: This item is a circulated Indian Head Buffalo Nickel housed in an International Numismatic Bureau (INB) slab. The coin shows significant wear consistent with a lower grade, as the date is completely worn away and no longer visible on the obverse. The portrait of the Native American and the buffalo on the reverse exhibit smoothed details and loss of definition. This copper-nickel composition coin represents a classic era of American coinage designed by James Earle Fraser, featuring a composite portrait of three Native American chiefs and an American bison on the reverse. It was struck as a standard business strike for general circulation between 1913 and 1938. While the slab provides protection, the specific numerical grade is not assigned on the label, and the metal content is a standard base metal alloy of copper and nickel.
