Hirtenberger Patronenfabrik .303 British Ammo 1973

This lot consists of 89 rounds of .303 British caliber centerfire ammunition manufactured by Hirtenberger Patronenfabrik. The cartridges are organized into five-round blackened steel stripper clips and housed in two plain white cardboard boxes. Each cartridge features a brass case with visible annealing at the neck and shoulder, topped with copper-jacketed full metal jacket boat-tail projectiles. Headstamp markings are arranged in four quadrants featuring the letters H and P at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and the numbers 7 and 3 at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, respectively, signifying production in 1973. The primers are protected with a green sealant, and at least one stripper clip is stamped with the letters BP. This ammunition is consistent with standard military surplus specifications for the period.
