(R) Serial # SBB00981C. .45 Colt caliber lever action rifle with a 20” octagon barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light fouling. Tubular magazine that loads from the front. The rifle is a standard Big Boy that has been customized/personalized by the Historical Armory Inc, in Ft. Collins CO to commemorate the 28th Infantry Div. and Operation Spartan Shield. The blued metal finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in excellent condition showing little to no wear with some scattered fine scratches. Silver inlayed barrel markings. The engraved nickel plated frame is in excellent condition showing little to no use. The plain oil finished walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition also showing no wear. Buckhorn type rear sight. Gold bead front sight. Nickel plated butt plate and barrel bands. The action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little. Includes the box.
