Manufactured in 1979 as per date code “HK” found on the left side of the receiver. This H&K 91 is a highly sought-after, pre-ban semi-automatic battle rifle chambered in 7.62 × 51 NATO / .308 Winchester. It features a distinct roller-delayed blowback system and a fluted chamber. It belongs to the early years when the rifles were importable and available for purchase in the United States. But due to the government certain rifles were put on a shall not import list in 1994 (Hence Pre Ban). So that made rifles such as this more desirable. The H&K 91 is the civilian semi automatic version of the German Army’s G3 automatic rifle. It is a very robust rifle with a tough blackish gray coating, left side non reciprocating charging handle, diopter rear and protected front sights. It also has a polymer handguard, grip, buttstock, a left side thumb selector lever, and a bipod that folds into 2 grooves at the bottom or the handguard. It is primarily made up from stamped steel and the 17.7” barrel (without the flash hider) has polygonal rifling for durability and accuracy. Includes 3 - 20rnd factory magazines, an H&K detachable scope mount with integral rings and engraved on the bottom “SchuBrichtug” (Direction of Push) with an arrow showing the direction to indicate the correct direction to slide and lock the mount onto the receiver, a Barska 6-24x50mm scope with an illuminated duplex reticle and sunshade, an original H&K 91 manual, and an Apache 9800 polymer travel case.
