The French MAS MLE 1944 is one of the most desirable and historically significant military rifles produced by France during World War II. Chambered in 7.5 French and featuring a 23-inch barrel with a bright, shiny bore, this example remains in excellent condition and represents an important transitional step between traditional bolt-action service rifles and the modern battle rifles that followed. The rifle retains its military hardwood stock, steel receiver, and semi-automatic operating system that made it revolutionary for French forces at the time. Included with the rifle is one magazine as well as an early bayonet, adding substantial collector appeal. Manufactured in 1944 during the final stages of the war, surviving examples are highly sought after due to their limited production numbers and direct wartime association.
