The Parker Bros Shotguns are an icon of American gunsmithing, and have earned their name as one of the highest quality American made double shotguns. Parker had produced firearms from 1867 to 1942. During these years, approximately 242,000 shotguns were produced in various grades, and are widely considered the finest and most collectible American shotgun. This example is a 10 Ga with two 28 ¾” Barrels both featuring CYL chokes and 2 ¾” Chambers. This shotgun has external hammers and double triggers, both of which are in good working order. The action is smooth and the firing pins are undamaged. All serial numbers are matching. The buttstock is worn but free from cracks or chips. The front sight bead is present may have been modified or reenforced. This shotgun was manufactured in 1892, making it an antique that does not require an FFL to facilitate the sale or transfer.
