Description from HiBid
Body Electric Guitar, Serial Number 800809. Very nice overall. Estate find from last week. A Gibson ES-345TD semi-hollow body electric guitar featuring a double-cutaway laminated maple body with f-holes and a transparent cherry red finish. The instrument features multi-ply cream-colored binding on the body and single-ply binding on the mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard is decorated with mother-of-pearl split-parallelogram inlays. Gold-plated hardware includes humbucking pickups, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece with a raised diamond motif. The guitar is equipped with stereo wiring and a six-position rotary Varitone switch with a black chicken-head knob. Control knobs are black witch hat style for volume and two tone settings. The headstock features gold-plated Kluson Deluxe tuners with plastic tulip buttons and a truss rod cover engraved with Stereo. An orange oval label visible through the f-hole confirms the model name as ES 345 TD and the serial number as 800809. The internal wood surface is stamped STEREO VARITONE. Something moves slightly inside the guitar when I tip it back and forth. This came out of an estate of vintage items and doesn't appear to have been touched or modified, but we have not taken apart or had any components out. Nut width: 1.56 inches.
