Description from HiBid
This Dutch Beaumont rifle chambered in .43 Beaumont is a scarce and historically significant military firearm from the late 19th century. Featuring a 32-inch barrel with a dark bore and fair overall condition, this rifle displays extensive age-related wear and visible rust throughout. The rifle is missing its bolt and additional components, making it best suited for restoration, display, or historical preservation. Despite its incomplete condition, the Beaumont remains an important milestone in military firearms development and is far less commonly encountered than many contemporary European service rifles. As an antique firearm, no FFL is required for transfer. Collectors of early military rifles will appreciate the rarity and historical significance represented by this Dutch military arm.
